LG has officially unveiled its latest smartphone LG V30, a test version, in Germany. Aimed at users who want to get the best multimedia experience on a mobile device, the LG V30 boasts,

- 4 GB RAM and 64 GB memory ( V30 + version 128 GB). Both are expandable via memory card.
- A 6-inch OLED FullVision display with QHD+ (2880 x 1440), or equal to 538ppi.
- 18:9 aspect ratio with very slim bezels for high screen-to-body ratio.
- Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform.
- A heat pipe and a cooling pad to help dissipate heat quickly.
- A 3,300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
- Android 7.1.2 Nougat with LG’s UX 6.0+.
- Equipped with back and front Gorilla Glass and water/dust resistant.

It will be a treat for those who like watching videos, viewing photos, or playing games on-the-go.
It will also be preferred by audiophiles and photographers.
- The built-in dual camera is differently designed than the double cameras of competitors. Instead of a normal and a zoom lens, LG combines the 16-megapixel standard lens with a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens. LG's managers justify the fact that the effects that a zoom can be generated with apps. However, a wide angle recording can not be generated by software.
- Bang & Olufsen, the Danish audio producer, has helped LG develop the built-in loudspeakers and delivered the headset that came with the device. The Koreans also have a built-in feature to enhance the sound through headphones by varying bass, mids, and treble over an equalizer.
Conclusion:
The use of wide angle rather than zoom is unusual and will be USP for this phone. Market launch is planned for October and the prices is has not yet revealed by LG.
